Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the prescribed educational and professional qualifications for the respective teaching post.

School Teacher Class 1–5

Candidates may be eligible through any of the prescribed qualifications, including:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • 10+2 with 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Diploma.
  • 10+2 with 45% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education as per the prescribed 2002 norms.
  • 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-Year B.El.Ed.
  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks and 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification.
  • CTET Paper-I or BTET Paper-I qualified.

Middle School Teacher Class 6–8

Candidates may possess:

  • Graduation with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation / Post Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.
  • Graduation with 45% marks and B.Ed. as per prescribed NCTE norms.
  • Graduation with 50% marks and B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. Special Education.
  • Post Graduation with 55% marks and 3-Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

Secondary School Teacher TGT-Special Class 9–10

Candidates should have the prescribed graduation/post-graduation qualification in the relevant subject with B.Ed. or equivalent teacher education qualification. A 4-Year B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. qualification may also be considered as prescribed.

Candidates must also fulfill the prescribed STET Paper-I eligibility requirements.

10+2 School Teacher PGT Class 11–12
